Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of any chocolate flavored protein powder or 3 scoops *Devotion Nutrition Brownie Batter protein powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 8×8 baking dish with non stick cooking spray
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together protein powder, baking powder, and powdered peanut butter.
  3. In another small mixing bowl mix together egg whites, unsweetened applesauce, almond extract or vanilla extract, and water.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and whisk until all ingredients are incorporated.
  5. Spoon batter into a prepared 8×8 (2-quart) baking dish
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the brownies cool on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.
  8. Melt frosting in a microwaveable bowl for 30 seconds and spread evenly over cooled brownies.

Servings: Makes 6 Brownies/ 2 Freestyle smart points each
