Chicken Pot Pie Wontons

Turn classic chicken pot pie into individually portioned wontons. Just as delicious, but helps with portion control.

Apple Pie Wontons

Shrimp and Crab Rangoons 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups skinless, boneless diced or shredded chicken breast or canned chicken
  • 1 (10.5oz) can of healthy request Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • 1 (12oz) package of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1 tsp Italian seasonings
  • 1 Tbsp flour or cornstarch
  • 24 wonton wrappers

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a skillet, sprayed with non stick cooking spray, sauté chopped onion and then add seasonings.
  2. Once the onions are caramelized, add the can of soup and water.
  3. Add vegetables and cooked chicken.
  4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Add Greek yogurt. If needed add 1 tbsp. of flour or cornstarch to help thicken.
  5. Using a muffin pan, place one wonton wrappers so the inner lap.
  6. Bake wontons for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven. Using a large spoon, fill each wonton with chicken filling.
  8. Place another wonton wrapper on top and press/tuck so edges are sealed.
  9. Bake for additional 10 minutes or until top wrapper is golden brown.

Silly question but how many points is just the filling. My family loved the filling but not the wontons I did so will make them for me

Hello. I made the won ton chicken pot pies tonight. They were very yummy, but I put the recipe in the recipe builder and they come out to be 3 points each. They are listed as 2 points each. Thanks for the yummy recipes!!
