Pumpkin Spice French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices low point bread ( 1-2 point per slice-I use 45 calorie 467 bread or Nature’s Own sugar free bread)
  • dash of vanilla
  • 1 large egg or 1/4 cup liquid egg substitute 
  • 2-4 Tbsp almond milk
  • dash of pumpkin spice
  • dash of cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Spray a skillet with non stick cooking spray.
  2. In a shallow plate, whisk egg and almond milk. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and pumpkin spice until ingredients are incorporated.
  3. Dip bread pieces separately into egg mixture and coat both sides with egg mixture.
  4. Place on prepared skillet. Cook on both sides for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Top with 3 Tbsp. fat free reddi wip, cinnamon and 3 Tbsp. sugar free Mrs Butterworth’s syrup for no additional points.

Good morning,

I recommend Nature’s Own sugar free bread, 647 Italian bread, or Sara Lee’s honey wheat bread. These are all 1 point per slice.
